1st EVER Jog-a-thon at our BRAND NEW SCHOOL

Silly Jog-a-thon Man plays on the equipment!

...and there he goes AGAIN! I think Jog-a-thon Man ran 1,873 laps!!!

Gaby had great form and ran like the wind!

Open House

Looking forward to seeing everyone at Open House this Thursday, October 4, 2012 from 6-7:30.

Picture Day is this Friday!

Picture day is Friday, September 28th. Packets were sent home last week and reminders will go home on Monday. All students will have their picture taken, even if a package is not purchased. That way each student has a photo taken for the class picture! 

Sumdog is FUN

 Play Sumdog and improve your math skills. 

You can play against the computer, classmates, or students from around the world!

Note: You will get your Sumdog passwords on Monday 9/10/12. 

We will glue the password card to your blue math folder and to your homework folder so you can play from home. I think you will enjoy moving up your rank and earning points for your avatar.

We're Off to a Great Start!

Dear Parents,
Thank you so much for all the supplies you purchased for our classroom this year. I believe that we have enough paper, Kleenex, composition and spiral notebooks to last the entire year! The only item that we are low on is scissors. If you have not had a chance to purchase supplies, please consider buying scissors. We really do not need any other supplies at this time.

I would also like to thank the parents that purchased snacks for the class to eat mid morning. If you would like to contribute, we are asking for snacks such as: Ritz, Saltines, Pretzels, Fish Crackers or Wheat Thins (to name a few). But please no cookies (Animal Cookies are okay).

Thanks again for all your support and I appreciate everyone filling out the homework and blog forms. I just know this is going to be a fantastic school year!
