  1. Martins big words is mainly about a man named martin and he changed peoples life’s by when black people couldn’t go anywhere except for some restaurants and some parks. He changed all that by telling everybody that they can do what they want and to change all those bad rules and that is what martins big words is mainly about.

  4. Two pieces of new information I learned is that Martins house got bombed and his brothers got bombed. My other new information I learned is that Martin worked at a church with his Dad. This story is mainly about Martin and how it was like when he was a kid. Two questions I have is why were people racist to blacks? My other question is why was the law so horrible?

  6. I think the main problem in the story Martin’s big words the white people did not like the black people and the black people did not get the peace that they wanted. But Martin stood up to the white people and stopped the law so the black people can have there right’s.

  11. Martins Big Words is mostly about how he grew up and how he wanted it to be fair and for people to be treated with respect. He wanted people to be judged by their character traits and not their skin color. He dreamed that black boys and girls and white boys and girls to hold hands and bring peace to Earth.

  12. Martin wanted to be a minister like is father. There was a problem with black people and white people. Later a black woman was under arrested. That just made the black people madder. Martin wanted to stop the unfair law. Martin worked hard to stop the law and he did. Martin stopped the law and told people not to fight with fist or weapons hate can’t solve problems only love can. Later is house was bombed but black people fixed it. Later martin was assonated by a white person. Before that he got the noble peace praise and desisted to make it has a holiday.

  13. The main idea in the text Martins big words is about Martin who is determined to make a change, so people could be treated equal or treated with respect and .Martin also believed in the lord and became a minister like his father. And he marched, and sang, and talked.

I would to research more on this topic. I could read books about Marin Luther King, Jr. from the library and I could also search more about MLK on the internet.

  15. When we read Martin’s Big Words I learned more about Martin Jr. because it’s a little different than the others like martin and his brothers house got bombed by someone. It’s a really cool story I think it’s the best out of all of them that’s how good it was. Martin changed the world with some help to he couldn’t do it himself. He got shot by someone which was sad because he was a really good guy he changed the world. Why did someone kill him? Why did whites and blacks have to be separated? Can you answer that? Martin is the best person was on the world that’s how good he was. I wish I could meet him. Why where girls and boys separated? Then the bus passed them they weren’t happy. I feel bad for him it’s sad. I hope he’s happy up in heaven because he was a good man even when he was a kid he helped his dad at church.

  16. I learned new information. First, you should not be judged by color of people. I also learned mlk had a church.mlk changed the world and nobody will ever be able to change that day he made the speech. Nobody will change that grateful law. Mlk changed the world forever.

  17. It is mostly about martins big words and to fighting back with love and so the black and the withe can be together and he said that he will changed the world and he did but he did it with love but at the end he was shocked

  18. The reading was mostly about mlkj changing the world and making the black people not having to suffer, and fighting with love not fists. The 2 things I learned is that in the story martin’s big words his and his brother’s house got bombed,
and that a women named Rosme was on a bus when whites were a loud to ask black until they could sit where ever they wanted to. People to move it and Rosme was asked to move but she said no so the cops took her to jail and the black people got mad so the black people didn’t ride the bus
Until they could sit where they wanted to.
