  1. My favorite part of the story The Boy of the Three Year Nap is when he tricks the merchant into letting him marry his dotter and building him a house. I like this part because it’s funny when he tricks him.

  2. My favorite part of The Boy of the 3 Year Nap is when he dressed up as a god that’s name is Ujigami. That was my favorite part because he looked so awesome. He wore a black Kimano and his face was covered with charcoal. I like this book because Taro’s like me when I get home because Taro’s lazy and I’m lazy too. This book is way out of control because he dresses up and acts like he’s a god named Ujigami.

  4. The boy of the three year nap is mainly about a boy named taro who always takes naps and when taros mother would ask if taro would do anything taro would just yawn and say’’ after my nap’’. The story is also mainly about the guy who had to fix the house because taro told the guy that he had to marry the guys daughter and he wanted his daughter to live in a good home when she is marred. That is why the guy had to fix the house. That is what the story is mainly about.

  7. My favorite part about the boy is when he sleeps, and eats because mom gets mad .The 2 pieces of his new information I learned are to listen to your mother or someone is going to get hurt. The story is mostly about the boy sleeping, and eating almost every day. But then he asks his mom to make him a black kimono. Next he wears the kimono and goes to stroll to a shrine by the roadside. There was a Merchant so the boy went to him and said, “ I am the ujigami.” His voice sounded like a goblin. What do you wish my lord your daughter must merry Taro which Taro my lord the only Taro you mean the boy of the three year nap the only Taro. And if not I’ll turn her into a pot of clayey BANG… BANG… BANG. The Merchant banged his fists on the dirty ground and the ujigami dice peered and never shod himself again. The merchant went quickly to the boy of the three year naps house and told the boy of the three yare naps mom your son most merry my doter or ells she will be turned into a pot of cull that’s what the ujigamis wish is. Mm tell me what this ujigami look like well he. He was wearing a kimono and his eyes were super-duper black ok. But the walls wind blows right through them very well I’ll send over carpenters to mend the walls. Now can we send to the wedding? The house is awful small then I will send many carpenters over to build many rooms. Now may we send to the wedding? One last thing my son needs a job he’ll work at my shop. Now we may send to the wedding thank you. You start work first thing the morning. Work that was not part of my plan. Ha you think you’re the only one who makes plans. The merchants doter mired Taro. It has been a long time since anyone has called Taro ‘ The boy of the three-year nap. Perhaps everyone has forgotten by now.

  8. The boy of the three year nap in the story there was a widow with her very lazy son. They said that taro would sleep for three years. And when he would yawn and say after my nap if he was asked for work. Taro came up with a plan to marry the merchant’s daughter. He dressed up like the god, Ujlmgami. He disguised himself by wearing a kimono and by putting charcoal on his face. The merchant is not happy with this news that his daughter must marry Taro. Taro’s mom realizes what her son has done when the merchant that her house is not good enough for his daughter. The merchant then starts repairing and building onto the house. Taro believes his plan is working. Taro is tricked by his own mother when she tells she the merchant that Taro is not able to support his daughter. So the merchant, to Taro’s surprise, hires him to work for him. Taro learns that laziness and bad behavior is not rewarded.
